BarzForge ("BarzForge," "WGB," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, artists, contestants, producers, judges, affiliates, and visitors ("Users") to do the same.
This DMCA Copyright Policy is intended to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and outlines the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement on the platform.
User Responsibility
By uploading, submitting, streaming, publishing, or distributing any content through the platform, Users represent and warrant that:
- they own the content; OR
- they have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and clearances required to use the content.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Users are solely responsible for the legality of all submitted material.
Prohibited Content
Users may NOT upload or distribute:
- copyrighted music without authorization
- stolen verses or lyrics
- unlicensed instrumentals/beats
- copyrighted television, film, sports, or broadcast footage
- unauthorized remixes
- AI-generated voice clones of artists without legal rights
- content that infringes trademarks, copyrights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights
- pirated recordings
- content falsely claimed as original
Violation of this policy may result in:
- content removal
- account suspension
- permanent account termination
- legal reporting where appropriate
Copyright Infringement Notification
If you believe content hosted on BarzForge infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice containing the following information:
Required Information
Your notification must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The URL or exact location of the allegedly infringing material
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the disputed use is unauthorized
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
DMCA Notice Submission
All DMCA notices must be submitted to:
Counter-Notification Process
If you believe content removed from the platform was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your full legal name and contact information
- Identification of the removed content and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed in error
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court
- Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringer Policy
BarzForge maintains a strict repeat infringer policy.
Users who repeatedly violate copyright laws or intellectual property rights may have:
- uploaded content removed
- competition privileges revoked
- accounts suspended
- accounts permanently terminated
- future access restricted
The Company reserves sole discretion in determining repeat infringement.
Platform Rights
By uploading content to the platform, Users grant BarzForge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- display submitted content
- stream content
- repost clips
- create promotional snippets
- market competitions
- use excerpts for advertising and social media promotion
- archive competition footage
Users retain ownership of their original intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Beat and Music Usage Disclaimer
Participation in competitions does NOT automatically grant Users ownership of:
- beats
- instrumentals
- production
- compositions
- publishing rights
Contestants are responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary rights to commercially exploit any submitted recording outside the platform.
AI-Generated Content Policy
Users may not upload:
- unauthorized AI voice clones
- AI-generated impersonations
- synthetic replicas intended to imitate commercial artists without authorization
BarzForge reserves the right to remove AI-generated content that may violate publicity, copyright, trademark, or likeness rights.
